No idea what Bless Online is about? Watch our review of its gameplay and features here.
PvP (player versus player) has always been a highly criticized criteria when it comes to MMORPGs. Some desire harsh-punishing and ‘hardcore’ systems that let you take the loot of your fallen enemies, some desire optional or casual instanced-based arenas, while others would rather walk a different path altogether. Here is a list of MMORPGs from the current decade with impressive PvP.
We are listing these games based on release dates in descending order.
This is an on-going list that will be updated every time a new impressive PvP centric MMORPG reveals itself. Last Updated: March 20, 2018.
With the last day of winter rapidly approaching, it’s time we take a look at the best newly released MMORPGs that came out between fall of last year (September 2017) and winter of this year (March 2018). This list is based on the games’ order of releases, since I know that’s the most convenient for those looking to play the latest games available.
The Mythical Realm 2 (or Xian Xia 2 as it is called in China) is a Chinese MMORPG with a Wuxia theme, which means it’s all about Chinese martial arts, eternal gods, magical swords, and flying heroes when it comes to story and gameplay themes. Other similarly themed games are Moonlight Blade and Revelation Online. One of the main features of the game is its limit-less flight, which works and feels much like the flight in those other two similar games, but with no wings required.
What’s that? You want a release date? Nope, nothing more than “possibly this” and “probably that” for now. Last we heard of Peria Chronicles, we were supposed to get some important news in December of last year and so far that’s still a no-show. Worry not however, when a date is finally announced for this game, we will let you know right away and swiftly update our Alphas, Betas and Release Dates page.
Now on to the super smart NPCs. ThingSoft, the developers of Peria Chronicles will be applying an artificial intelligence system that is currently being developed by Nexon Korea to the game’s NPCs. This AI will allow the NPCs to automatically generate missions and other content for players.
Details as to how this will work were not mentioned, but I can guess that these smart NPCs may create based on surrounding player activity. This will be a sweet addition to the list of advanced sand-box features of Peria that include player-made dungeons and player-programmed mechanisms like elevators.
