Astellia Is Coming To Steam On January 30th

Korean MMORPG Astellia is set to launch on the Steam platform on January 30th. The buy-to-play game is already downloadable and playable from the web-based service. Players form both the web-based service and Steam platform will be on the same regional servers.

Everyone will also be able to take part in January’s special events:

  • Dogavi Crescent Event which introduces an event dungeon (similar in theme to the Dogavi Night Market), allowing players to earn Shining Merchant Coins and Holy Order Symbols!
  • Taking Care of Pimpi Event: A Giant Spider Boss designed for a 12 person party has been added, allowing players to acquire a Legendary Treasure in exchange for helping Pimpi.

Going forward, Barunson will be offering guilds more content that will include a special guild arena that will pit up to 64 players against one another in a battle for dominance. More about this new content will be revealed in the coming weeks.

Throughout 2020, players can look for even more awesome updates including a new Astel champion, new dungeons, events, the addition of an Astel Equipment system, a new 12 player raid, and much, much more.

Below is the FAQ released by publisher Barunson EA.

If I already own Astellia from the web based service, will I be able to link it to my steam account?
Unfortunately due to technical limitations, existing Astellia accounts cannot be linked to the Steam platform.

Will players that purchase Astellia on Steam play on the same servers as the web based service?
Absolutely! Steam players will be connecting to the same regional servers available for North America and Europe.

If I own the Web based version of Astellia, can I use the Steam wallet to make in-game Cash Shop purchases?
Players who have purchased Astellia through the official website, known as the ‘Web Based Service’ will not be able to use the Steam wallet to make purchases.

Players who purchase Astellia through Steam will not be able to make purchases through the Official Astellia website, and will instead need to execute Gem purchases through the Steam platform.
