Battle Royale Ashes of Creation: Apocalypse Hits Early Access
Ashes of Creation‘s Apocalypse, the standalone battle royale game hit Early Access earlier today at 3PM EST. The game stands as a prequel to the upcoming sandbox fantasy MMORPG Ashes of Creation and as a testing playground for Ashes of Creation’s core infrastructure and key features. The early access is free to download from Steam and the Ashes of Creation website. Servers are located in North American (East & West), European (Central), and Southeast Pacific (Singapore). You will need to register for a free Intrepid account.
Apocalypse was initially intended to test the hybrid action combat system of Ashes of Creation, but grew to become its own game entirely. Players can play in Solos, Duos, and in Squads of up to five people. The game will also support castle sieges and other large-scale battles. Now that it is finally in Early Access, persistent game servers are online. Also good to note that all cosmetic earnings in Apocalypse will be transferred over to the MMORPG version when that launches.
