It sure has been some time since we last heard from Nexon about the world-building anime MMORPG Peria Chronicles. Just recently, Nexon has announced that the game is still on the horizon and that they are looking for testers to play it next month. From now (April 18th) to May 2nd, gamers with verified Korean Nexon accounts are able to register and apply for the first test phase. You will need a verified Korean phone number to apply for a chance to be chosen as a tester. Game testing will begin on May 9th and end on May 12th.
Pearl Abyss has announced that Black Desert Mobile will release the graceful Maehwa character on April 17th. The Maehwa is the female counterpart of the Musa. The female sword-wielder class specializes in weaving in and out of fights. She is known for being able to easily lock down single opponents in PvP.
Smilegate has announced the latest class addition to Lost Ark. The close-range damage dealer dubbed “Lance Master” is the first class to arrive since the game’s launch in Korea back in November of 2018. The heavy-hitting, tornado summoning lance wielder is able to switch between two stances to form different styles of combos.
Lance Master will arrive and wreck havoc in the Korean servers on April 24th. Players can take part in a pre-registration event to obtain special consumables and other bonus items.
The team behind the upcoming warfare sandbox MMO Conqueror’s Blade is heading to Berlin to take part in TwitchCon Europe. In celebration of the Streamfest, Conqueror’s Blade will be hosting an Open Weekend to which all players are welcome from across the world. This will be followed by a limited-access event that will continue the Open Weekend access for those who have pre-ordered the game.
Conqueror’s Blade’d gameplay consists of controlling medieval teams of dozens of powerful and varying troops from Eastern samurai to Western medieval knight of old in large-scale siege-like scenarios of over 1,000 troops in battle. The game takes inspiration from ancient Eastern and Western civilizations and warfare.
KurtzPel Is Launching As A Free-to-Play Game On Steam On April 30th For NA/SA – EU & Asia At Later Dates
KurtzPel: Bringer of Chaos, the PvP-heavy multiplayer action game developed by KoG Games (Grand Chase & Elsword developer), is launching into Steam Early Access before the end of the month. On April 30th at 9:00 PDT, the game will be released as a free-to-play title. That release will make the game available for North and South American countries. Availability will be granted to European regions in June. Asian countries will gain access early in July.
GTC 2019 Reveals New Teaser For Nexon & DevCat’s Mounted Combat MMO Dragonhound With Very Shiny RTX Tech CGI Scenes
At GTC 2019 (GPU Technology Conference), NVIDIA and Nexon announced that Dragon Hound, the upcoming mounted combat action MMO will support real-time DirectX Raytracing (DXR) effects with Nvidia’s RTX technology. Nvidia GeForce’s YouTube channel has posted a video that shows the enabled ray tracing effects for the game’s reflections and shadows. DXR being used for either aspect is still a rare sight in today’s games.
KurtzPel’s Steam Early Access Will Have English & Korean Voices – KoG Previews NPC Heroes With English Voice Acting
KoG Games has announced that KurtzPel: Bringer of Chaos, the upcoming PvP-heavy multiplayer anime RPG will have English and Korean voices. When testers jumped into the game for the first time on Steam during the closed beta on February, they were met with NPCs that only spoke in Korean. When KurtzPel launches into Early Access sometime this year, there will be “English voices as well”. You can watch a preview of in-game cutscenes below.
CCP Games Will Launch A Korean Version Of Space MMO EVE Online – Release Date Is Aimed To Be In Q4 2019
In the fall of 2018, Pearl Abyss, makers of Black Desert games acquired CCP Games, the Icelandic developing company behind the space-based sandbox MMORPG EVE Online. Now it has been officially announced that a Korean-localized version of EVE Online will launch in Q4 2019 (fourth quarter)! Players from the Republic of Korea will be joining the global EVE Online community. More information will be sent out as we get closer to a release date.
With the acquisition of CCP Games, the launch of Black Desert on Xbox One for North America and Europe, and the planned global release of Black Desert Mobile in the first half 2019, Pearl Abyss’ global reach is growing steadily.
Kritika Online’s NA & EU Versions Are Shutting Down On April 30th – Players Welcomed To Play On KR Server
After nearly two years of service, En Masse Entertainment will be ending service for Kritika Online‘s North American and European versions on April 30, 2019. As of March 6, players can no longer create new accounts for the game. Spending EMP (En Masse Points) on Kritika has been disabled.
All cash shop items have been reduced to 0 Kred, so players can purchase and test all cash shop items to their hear’s content until the servers go down. All existing Kreds on player accounts will be converted to EMP so that they could be spent on other En Masse games.
