City-State Entertainment has announced that the beta testing phase for Camelot Unchained that was planned to begin on July 4th will be shortly delayed by “weeks or days”. There is no set date for the upcoming beta as of yet. Some of the reasons given that resulted in their decisions to delay the beta are the new European regulations, the need to lessen the client crash rate and more needed polish to the gameplay.

ArtCraft Entertainment has posted their mid-year checkpoint update for Crowfall which highlights the game’s progress so far in the first half of the year and announces content and dates that will come in the second half of the year and beyond. The post states that it’s clear that “the soft launch is not going to happen by the end of the year” as a result of more needed changes to core systems.

The team anticipates kicking off alpha testing at the end of the summer of 2018. After that, their march towards a beta phase will start.

The Wild West Online Facebook page and Steam page have been updated with a notice that the planned content patch that was supposed to release on June 15th has been delayed. On top of this, the free-to-play version has been postponed by an additional month.

The team behind the game has decided that the patch is not ready yet because “after 3 days of meticulous testing there was way too many bugs, that would alter your overall experience.”

“It was a team decision to postpone patch for up to one month, and make sure that we hit all goals we want with it. We’re very small team at the moment, so while we wanted to have more resources to put on it, we’re going with what we have – what is in line with game’s metrics.”

Legends of Aria Opens Beta Applications For Guilds In Exchange For Group Content Feedback

Citadel Studios is inviting entire guilds to experience the beta version of Legends of Aria. In exchange for reporting bugs and submitting feedback via their guild leaders at least three times, guild members will be able to play the indie-developed sandbox MMORPG for three weeks. Players will also need to keep their guild mates in check since “participants also agree that if one guild member is caught using an exploit after more than 24 hours without reporting it, the entire guild is subject to removal from the test”.

Developer and publisher PLAYWITH Interactive has announced that they will be releasing a new MMORPG titled Warlords Awakening on Steam in the summer. The announcement states that they are on the last stages of development and plan to open the game up to the public for Early Access. The Early Access is expected sometime in July.

The game will feature five unique classes (Blood Knight, Mage Psychic, Sniper, Assassin Warrior), three battle stances per class, battle pets, dungeons, raids, 4 vs 4 PvP and a pet breeding system.

The first major update for Life Is Feudal: MMO is coming soon and indie developer Bitbox has revealed the upcoming new content that will come with it. The highlights of the update are the unification of game worlds, PvP arenas, clergy, new outposts, slavery and guild rankings.

The game worlds will be united so that players can travel between them, but only once a week for regular players and once every two days for premium subscribers. Global chat will allow players to communicate and trade with everyone regardless of which area they reside in.

Manually gathering resources will no longer be as tiring with the new slave mechanics. Players can place up to four slaves per outpost to speed up productivity and earnings.

DJ2 Entertainment has announced a new set of major changes to the recently released Wild West Online. No later than June 15th, a new patch will be deployed that will bring the removal of “Mcfarlanes vs Steele” type of factions, the return of Sheriffs vs Outlaw as core gameplay, a free trial version and more.

Defined faction PvP was added when Wild West Online launched on Steam on May 10th and now they have chosen to remove the system due to its addition of unnecessary complexities to gameplay mechanics. As a replacement to the new “Mcfarlanes vs Steele” type of faction PvP, Sheriffs vs Outlaw will become the new two main factions in the game.

It seems that new players are also encouraged to ask for keys to try the buy-to-play game with Citadel Studios stating that “if you just want to try it yourself, not because you have a friend playing, well, welcome to you! We hope all of you love Legends of Aria.”
