City-State Entertainment has announced that the beta testing phase for Camelot Unchained that was planned to begin on July 4th will be shortly delayed by “weeks or days”. There is no set date for the upcoming beta as of yet. Some of the reasons given that resulted in their decisions to delay the beta are the new European regulations, the need to lessen the client crash rate and more needed polish to the gameplay.

The Wild West Online Facebook page and Steam page have been updated with a notice that the planned content patch that was supposed to release on June 15th has been delayed. On top of this, the free-to-play version has been postponed by an additional month.
The team behind the game has decided that the patch is not ready yet because “after 3 days of meticulous testing there was way too many bugs, that would alter your overall experience.”
“It was a team decision to postpone patch for up to one month, and make sure that we hit all goals we want with it. We’re very small team at the moment, so while we wanted to have more resources to put on it, we’re going with what we have – what is in line with game’s metrics.”

No later than June 15th, a new patch will be deployed that will bring the removal of “Mcfarlanes vs Steele” type of factions, the return of Sheriffs vs Outlaw as core gameplay, a free trial version and more.
Defined faction PvP was added when Wild West Online launched on Steam on May 10th and now they have chosen to remove the system due to its addition of unnecessary complexities to gameplay mechanics. As a replacement to the new “Mcfarlanes vs Steele” type of faction PvP, Sheriffs vs Outlaw will become the new two main factions in the game.
