On January 20th, PvP-oriented MMORPG Albion Online will launch its biggest update since the game was released in 2017. Titled Queen, the update will bring the new Hideout system that lets guilds operate in underground bases within the Outlands. An entirely new faction, the ancient Avalonians will also be added to the game. Players can fight against them in the new Elite Randomized Dungeons for powerful week-long buffs and Avalonian Shards (used for crafting the game’s most powerful Artifact Armor).
Korean game developers All-M sent word that a new class has been added to the Korean version of the action-combat brawler MMORPG Kritika. The new class is the Female Warrior who wields an elegant longsword. Check her out in the preview video below.
To add to the hype of revealing the release date for the upcoming open world MMO New World, developer and publisher Amazon Game Studios has posted a new developer diary video. The video on YouTube talks about the development that went into New World and shows off concept art and in-game footage.
The monster catching MMO TemTem will finally launch into Early Access at the start of next year. On January 21st, 2020, players will be able to access an early version of the game on Steam. They will be able to explore three islands, fight against 4 Boss Dojos and tame 76 possible TemTem in the co-op world. The game’s full version will have six islands.
Developer Eyedentity has revealed that the South East Asian release date for the World of Dragon Nest is set for January 8th, 2020. Both Android and iOS users will gain access on that day. The SEA release is specific to Thailand, Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia, and Malaysia.
A new indie-developed MMORPG titled Reign of Darkness has launched into Early Access. While still in development, the game is currently a tab-target, theory-crafting, dragon-runner and RPG game based on Dungeons & Dragons concepts. Check out the videos below for gameplay and development footage.
The sandbox MMORPG Legends of Aria developed by Citadel Studios announced that the game’s upcoming ‘New Dawn‘ update will be released next month on December 5th. The update will add brand new content, features, and the much awaited free-to-play option to the game. Free players will have access to almost all of the game’s content, “but will need to purchase a Citizen’s Pass to build a home, launch a player-run shop, unlock your bank’s full capacity, play on Community Servers, and more”.
CCP Games, the Iceland-based game developer responsible for the popular sci-fi sandbox MMO EVE Online is attending this year’s G-Star Convention 2019. G-Star is an annual trade show showcasing dozens of video games and MMORPGs in Korea. EVE Online is set to launch in Korea when the convention begins on November 14th and will be presented there to support the release.
