In celebration of the two year anniversary of SamuTale‘s launch into early access, indie developer MapleMedia is offering a free-to-play week from September 14th to September 23rd. For those who want to continue their journey in the survival sandbox MMORPG after the duration of the free-to-play event, founder packs can now be purchased with a 30% discount until September 23rd.
Jagex has announced that the release date for both the iOS and Android versions of Old School RuneScape is set as October 30th. Fans and new players can pre-order and pre-register for any version on the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
“In order for us to move Old School RuneScape into the pre-order and pre-register stage, we’re required to remove the beta build from the Google Play store. This means that those of you without the Members beta installed will not be able to access the app until its full release on October 30th. If you have access via the Members beta, the iOS closed beta, or you’re located in an area in which we’ve soft launched (Canada, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden), then you’ll be able to continue playing right up until the full release.”
Bossa Studios has announced that preparations are being made to launch a big content update for the sandbox world-builder MMO Worlds Adrift. The update is coming on September 6th. The upcoming update will focus on bringing PvE features and will bring many new things such as a new map, loads of events and more.
Amazon Game Studios has begun accepting sign-ups for alpha testing the mysterious new open-world MMORPG called New World. To sign up, visit this link and click the “Email Me” button. This will also keep you updated with alerts about New World and when the game will be available. There is no date for the alpha at this time.

During today’s Ashes of Creation livestream on Twitch, developer and self-publisher Intrepid Studios has revealed the latest state of the game’s action combat. The video below shows the first look of melee, range and magic combat in the PvP battlegrounds. Players will be able to experience the new combat in the upcoming Alpha One. Intrepid Studios has stated that Phase One of Alpha One is expected to begin sometime in September. Over 8,500 testers will get to try out PvE and PvP scenarios like battlegrounds, city defense and castle sieges.
Shroud of the Avatar has announced that as a result of fast progress, a version of the player-made dungeons feature is expected to be added to the game as soon as Q4 2018. Starting example dungeons, complete with loots and monsters, will be used in the game until the player-made dungeons feature finally goes live.
Player-made dungeons will be customizable and expandable. They will also have craftable rooms and/or Add On Store rooms.
During QuakeCon 2018, Bethesda Game Studios has announced that the next DLC for The Elder Scrolls Online, Wolfhunter, will become available on PC on August 13th and on Xbox One and Playstation 4 on August 28th. A trailer was released to tease the new werewolf themed content.
Citadel Studios has announced that Legends of Aria, the indie-developed sandbox MMORPG is headed for Steam sometime in October. The game’s servers will be open to founders and backers first, and then one week later, launch on Steam as an Early access game. To prepare for that, the game will have at least one more stress test and several new events.
Citadel Studios has announced that the second closed beta of Legends of Aria will begin on July 12th. The game’s roadmap is due for an update since the last iteration aimed for an open beta phase in June and an early access phase in July.
Closed beta 2 will include hundreds of bug fixes, new features and a massive graphical update for the game’s world. The improved art-style and polished graphics were primarily the work of their artists Austin and Tiffany with some occasional help from everyone else on the team.
