DC Universe Online, Daybreak‘s superhero-themed MMORPG set in various DC universes is headed to the Nintendo Switch console and it will be free-to-play! A release date has not been announced yet, but the game is expected to arrive in Summer 2019. The Switch will be the game’s fourth platform alongside PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
There will not be any crossplay options between the Nintendo Switch version and PC/console versions of DC Universe Online. Players will connect to brand-new DCUO servers with their Nintendo Accounts. More information will be revealed as we get closer to the release.

A free trial version of Monster Hunter: World on PlayStation 4 is now available for a limited time! Until May 20th, PS4 players can hunt giant beasts with all players, not just trial version players. Of course, you will still need a PlayStation™Plus membership to play online.

A select group of beta testers in South Korea are now playing Nexon‘s long-awaited cel-shaded sandbox MMORPG Peria Chronicles! The beta began earlier today and will be running until May 12th. Testing is scheduled to run for 8 hours per day in the first two days and for 13 hours per day in the last two days. While the client download links (periafans.com) are now public, the current testing phase is a closed beta, so most eager fans must continue their wait to try the game.
The EVE Online universe is getting a whole lot of new content soon when the game launches the ‘Invasion’ expansion on May 28th. Capsulers will be faced with a massive invasion as the Triglavian threat closes in.

Novaquark has released a new Developer’s Diary that explains the details on the barter system that will be added to the Scifi civilization-building MMO Dual Universe. The barter system will allow players to directly trade with one another. Like typical MMO trading, players will engage with one another in the game world and request to barter by clicking on the character they wish to barter with.

KoG Games‘ KurtzPel: Bringer of Chaos, the new fast-paced action combat brawler RPG is now available on Steam as an early access title. The game is free-to-play, but not everyone can play it yet. Today’s release is for the North American and South American regions only. Players in European and Asian regions must continue to patiently wait. KurtzPel will be playable in European regions in June and in Asian regions in July.
