During Smilegate’s latest media conference in Seoul, South Korea, the release date for the action MMORPG Lost Ark was finally announced! The game will launch its open beta phase for South Korean gamers on November 7th.

After the initial launch, new content will be regularly released by seasons (large updates), episodes (game content based on additional story) and patches. The additional content that are currently in development includes new classes, lots of new islands and regions, visual improvements, better optimization and more.

Pearl Abyss Will Take Over As Publisher For Russian Version Of Black Desert Online

GameNet has announced that Pearl Abyss will take over the publishing duties for Black Desert Online in Russia starting on October 12th. A contract between current publisher GameNet and developer Pearl Abyss was not successfully made for GameNet to continue providing Black Desert services to Russian players.

Steps are being made to ensure that all accounts and characters can be transferred without issues, but accounts will not be transferred automatically. Players will be able to transfer via a new Russian website by Pearl Abyss. It’s also been clarified that the Russian servers will not merge with European servers.

Jagex has announced that the release date for both the iOS and Android versions of Old School RuneScape is set as October 30th. Fans and new players can pre-order and pre-register for any version on the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

“In order for us to move Old School RuneScape into the pre-order and pre-register stage, we’re required to remove the beta build from the Google Play store. This means that those of you without the Members beta installed will not be able to access the app until its full release on October 30th. If you have access via the Members beta, the iOS closed beta, or you’re located in an area in which we’ve soft launched (Canada, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden), then you’ll be able to continue playing right up until the full release.”

It’s not the first time that TERA (PC) servers are merging, so publisher En Masse Entertainment has revealed a handy FAQ several weeks ahead of time for those who will be affected by the population control. In short, two sets of two servers will be merged on September 18th, 7 a.m. PDT. En Masse suggests that players delete characters they don’t need since character limits on the new servers will force players to delete extra characters upon logging in.
