Worlds Adrift, the upcoming “community-crafted MMO” will launch into Early Access next week on May 17, 2018. In celebration, indie developer Bossa Studios has arranged an extravagant way of “launching” the game by having guests play the game 150 feet above the ground. They have created a life-size skyship that will be propelled above the Chelsea College of Arts in London that will be fully decked out with twenty game stations.

NCSoft Q1 2018 Earnings Report Shows Blade & Soul As Strongest Non-Mobile MMO While Aion Sales Increase
NCSoft’s quarterly earnings report for Q1 2018 have just been released and while the company’s giant spike in mobile games revenue continues to even out, several MMORPG titles appear to be making a comeback.
Guild Wars 2 sales dropped by 32% in comparison to the previous quarter. This is to be expected considering the stabilization after the success of the Path of Fire expansion in Q4 of 2017. Aion’s sales jumped by 48% which was fueled by the change in monetization scheme. Comparing the sales of NCSoft’s top PC games, Blade & Soul is leading the way as their highest source of income from PC games. As a speculation, this could be the result of the combination of a large number of updates done to Blade & Soul in the recent months and the hype from Blade & Soul Mobile at the end of last year.
En Masse Entertainment has announced that Harpy the Rogue will be added as the latest playable character in Closers on May 22, 2018. Harpy was previously beaten by the portal summoner and gun wielder Tina in a contest for which character will be added to the game first. Harpy’s combat is all about powerful kicks and energy-laden card attacks. Her life as a professional thief titled “Phantom Thief” came at a halt when she was caught stealing from the Vulture Corp. and convinced to join the Wolf Dogs team.
Blade & Soul‘s PC version is finally upgrading its graphics and converting to Unreal Engine 4! The highly rated action combat MMORPG has been played publicly on the dated Unreal Engine 3 for over seven years while its more recent mobile and console counterparts are being developed in Unreal Engine 4 already. Here is to hoping that NCSoft will take full advantage of UE4’s graphical additions and cinematic options.
Bless Online Steam Update Suggests At Least 3 Founders Packs Will Be For Sale & Chinese Regions Are Restricted
The latest update to the Steamdb page of Bless Online suggests that the game will initially have at least three different packages available for purchase on top of the base game. Bless Online is still set to be playable as a buy-to-play game in May and so far, there has not been an official announcement stating a specific date for the start of the upcoming Early Access. This latest change can be seen as another indication that Neowiz still plans to release the game within this month and that they may just be keeping us on our toes until the very last minute.

KurtzPel: Bringer of Chaos is a PvP heavy action combat multiplayer online brawler game that is deemed by its developers as a spiritual successor of the anime MMORPGs Grand Chase and Elsword. It is currently in development by KOG Games and has only had a playable demo version in last year’s G-star gaming convention. There’s five gameplay showcase videos so far, three of which we’ve already analyzed in a previous article (the PvP, the combat basics and character creation videos). Now the developers have given another pair of teaser videos that give us a glimpse of what KurtzPel’s PvE combat will be like and the newly revealed Blazing Fist combat style.
