One of the largest and most complex systems in Bless Online is its taming system and Neowiz is quick to draw attention to the extremely wide array of pet and mounts that are tamable in the game’s open world. Neowiz claims that when early access begins, players will find 660 unique creatures available for taming. Does that include the humanoid NPC enemies that are tamable as minions/servants? Who knows? 660 is a hard number to verify. Granted, in my experience playing Bless I would say that I have tamed at least three or four hundred different creatures, so the number isn’t far fetched at all.
Black Desert Online has a knack for IP restrictive region-based servers and now the Japanese version is breaking the habit by what seems to be a low-key invitation for the world’s Black Desert Online fans. A Twitter user by the name of mellopachi has tweeted a picture of an announcement slide for a non-IP restricted test server for the Japanese version of Black Desert Online.
This is from Black Desert Online’s 3rd Anniversary Party that took place on May 20, 2018 at the Grand Prince Hotel New Takanawa (Tokyo, Japan). Extracted from the announcement image, we also know that players will receive a certain level of equipment that is prepared in advance to assist in testing, the pearl shop will be disabled, only Japanese language is supported and a bulletin board will be opened for posting feedback.

KurtzPel: Bringer of Chaos, KoG Games’ PvP focused spiritual successor of the anime MMORPGs Elsword and Grand Chase has been quite active lately with showcasing the PvE aspects that are being developed for the game. Perhaps this is due to some misconception that the game will only offer instanced PvP arenas. Last month, they revealed screenshots and videos of several characters in combat with PvE bosses. They also revealed a new playable combat style called the Blazing Fist. Now they have shown a brand new boss with a lava-themed reptilian appearance and the “toon line” for a golem-like boss.

Revelation Online, published by Russian-based Mail.ru will receive a new update under the name of “New Sulan” that will unify the Russian version and Western versions of the game under one producer and team. At the moment, the Western versions are handled by My.com, a subsidiary of Mail.ru and the Russian version is handled by the parent company Mail.ru. The Russian version has always had a slightly more updated client than the Western versions and this update aims to lessen the differences between the two versions.
The spearhead of this process and the new unified client build will be the new global producer Petr Lagun.
To play the Steam version of Bless Online as soon as possible on May 28th, you will need access to the head-start that can only be obtained by purchasing a Founder’s Pack. Last week, the prices for the three different Founder’s Packs were revealed to be $40 for the Standard edition, $70 for the Deluxe Edition and a whopping $200 for the Collector’s Edition. Many in the Bless Online community had complained that the biggest package was overpriced and now Neowiz has announced that the Collector’s Pack will now be sold for $150 (149.99 to be exact) instead of the original $200. The controversial “Premium Customer Service” that came with this Collector’s Pack will no longer be included as a direct response to user feedback.
Jonathan Lien, NCSoft’s Associate Producer for Blade & Soul has posted a producer’s letter for Spring 2018 to talk about Blade & Soul’s state and give previews of the content that we should expect for the game in the coming months. On top of the exciting news that the game will switch from Unreal Engine 3 to Unreal Engine 4, players can now look forward to a new greatsword-wielding tank class.
The new tank class will be powered by brute strength. Unlike other classes, this class will consume HP instead of Focus to use certain skills. Players will need to choose wisely. The class will have abilities to mitigate damage and gain temporary immunity to incoming status effects. More details will be shared later this year.
