Blizzard has announced that World of Warcraft Classic’s Arathi Basin battleground will be unlocked on March 11th at 3PM PDT. The date was revealed by Community Manager Bornakk via a forum post. Battleground Holidays will start later that same week which will give players more honor and reputation from battleground participation.
Bless Unleashed is Bandai Namco’s Xbox One MMORPG based in the same universe as the now-shut down Bless Online. The developer has released two new blog posts that shows a sneak peek of the game’s cash shop called the Lumena Shop. The first post shows the cash currency rates, a mount skin, and a costume. Lumena, the game’s cash shop curerency will be purchasable through the Microsoft store at the following prices:
Blade & Soul is set to patch in a new update titled Shroud of the Assassin that will add a third class specialization to the Assassin class on February 19th. Level 55 and higher players who have completed the Legacy of the Hongmoon Class Awakening quest will be able to opt for the Way of the Phantom specialization. You can use new “phantasmal energy with the new Phantom skill or surprise your opponents with an attack of Shadow Stalkers as you display your newfound expertise with the Twilight Slash ability”.
Dragon Raja, the open world MMORPG played on mobile devices is coming out this month. Originally launched in China last year, the game is set to release in America and Europe on February 27th, 2020. Pre-registration is available now on both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.
Dragon Raja boasts a fierce real-time combat system with diverse PvP systems. Players can take part in “duels, battlegrounds that hold hundreds of players, and guild matches”. Created with Unreal Engine 4, Dragon Raja’s open world simulates physical collision systems and optical motion capture technology. The graphics, combat, and character customization is similar to Tencent’s Revelation Online.
Korean MMORPG Astellia is set to launch on the Steam platform on January 30th. The buy-to-play game is already downloadable and playable from the web-based service. Players form both the web-based service and Steam platform will be on the same regional servers.
Pearl Abyss has released a new trailer for Black Desert showcasing the combat style of the upcoming Guardian class. The video was posted on Black Desert’s Korean YouTube channel. The Guardian is seen using several AoE attacks, grabs, and a teleport skill as a gap closer.
On January 20th, PvP-oriented MMORPG Albion Online will launch its biggest update since the game was released in 2017. Titled Queen, the update will bring the new Hideout system that lets guilds operate in underground bases within the Outlands. An entirely new faction, the ancient Avalonians will also be added to the game. Players can fight against them in the new Elite Randomized Dungeons for powerful week-long buffs and Avalonian Shards (used for crafting the game’s most powerful Artifact Armor).
Pearl Abyss is giving each of the console versions of Black Desert a new class to play with. On January 8th, the Xbox version is is getting the Kunoichi, aka. the female version of the male-only Ninja class. The day after, on January 9th, the PlayStation 4 version is getting the sword and shield wielding Valkyrie class.
