Vindictus‘ newest playable character is on her way. Eira: The Void Witch, the fourteenth hero will join the game on April 30th. She uses her Mana Revolver to summon portals and glide through different dimensions.
Vindictus players can register for a celebratory package from now through April 28th. The package contains outfits, an armor set, character slots, and more. A “warm-up attendance event” is also up and running from March 26th through April 29th that gives daily reward items until Eira is patched into the game. The console version of TERA will soon receive a major content update called ‘TERA: Reloaded’ on April 2nd. The update will bring the adorable, yet very dangerous Elin Gunner. The arrival of the new class, as is usual, is accompanied by a leveling event in each and every region.

Albion Online is opening its gates to all willing players next month! On April 10th, the indie-developed sandbox MMORPG will become a free-to-play game. The change will apply to all platforms. A new generation of players will join the fight in the PvP-heavy world of Albion.
The Specter Wolf mount will be given as an exclusive thank you gift to all veteran players with Founder or Starter Packs. The Specter Wolf has all of the stats of a Direwolf, but with a ghostly look.
With World of Warcraft‘s Battle for Azeroth expansion in full swing, Blizzard is inviting old players to re-join the front lines. From March 21st to 24th, all inactive World of Warcraft accounts will be upgraded, “granting returning players full access to the game and all their characters”. All returning players will be able to play even if they do not own the Battle for Azeroth expansion.

Aion‘s next major content update is on its way and it’s called ‘Ereshkigal’s Wrath’! “New instances, new Daevanion skills, new transformations, GP competitive seasons, and much more” will be added to the game on March 27th. More information will be revealed soon on the official Aion site. In the mean time, you can watch the Ereshkigal’s Wrath cinematic teaser trailer below.
Gameforge has sent word that Guardians of Ember, the hack’n’slash MMO that they are relaunching is heading into open beta next week. Players with accounts created before the closed beta will receive free items when they play during the open beta. The game went into closed beta on January 26th.
Publisher Gamigo has reported that RIFT Prime, RIFT‘s progressions server will be shutting down on March 31st at the stroke of midnight. Character/credit transfers will go on through the following week until April 7th.
RIFT Prime launched just over one year ago on March 7, 2018. The progression server offers the “vanilla” experience with a low level cap and a limited in-game credit shop that only contains cosmetic items.
Funcom has launched Anarchy Online‘s first ever progression server called ‘Rubi-Ka 2019’ to offer a unique take on a fresh-start experience. The game will have ‘no expansions, lower level caps, and an untouched economy to begin’. The server is planned to run for 12 months, but may run further if the community wants to keep it going.
