Aion: Legions of War, the mobile strategy RPG that is set in the same universe as PC MMO Aion has officially launched worldwide. The game is now available for both Android and iOS mobile devices. Players collect heroes to add to their teams and to fight with in PvE dungeons and PvP arenas. Each hero can be customized with a plethora of gear, transformations, and affinity-based abilities.
The Xbox One version of Black Desert will be launching on March 4th. Early access will be granted to those who pre-order the game from the Microsoft Store. The more expensive the package is, the earlier you can hop into the world and play ahead of the launch day.

En Masse Entertainment has announced that the North American and European servers of Closers will be merging into one new world server. The merge is set to happen on January 29th 4Pm Pacific and will come with a ten hour downtime.

Bless Unleashed, the Xbox One MMORPG based on the same world as Bless Online is set to release sometime in 2019. Bandai Namco has released a new teaser trailer to show off the five classes that players will have to choose from; Berserker, Mage, Ranger, Priest, and Crusader. The Crusader is essentially Bless Online’s Guardian class.
Bless Unleashed is said to be built for mature audiences. It will take players on “an epic multiplayer journey across a vibrant persistent world, and tasks the brave with battling – and surviving –vicious, lethal monsters that inhabit this untamed landscape.” It is developed by NEOWIZ and Round 8 Studio. The next part of the Age of Discovery in Star Trek Online is coming soon on January 23rd and it’s called the ‘Mirror of Discovery’ update. Star Trek Online: Mirror of Discovery will be added on PC first and later on the console versions. This update will feature a new important character, Captain Killy, who is voiced by Mary Wiseman from the Star Trek: Discovery television series. Two new featured episodes titled ‘Para Pacem’ and The Illusion of Communication’ will be added with this update.
Intrepid Studios has announced that the second open beta for Ashes of Creation: Apocalypse will be live from January 24th, 10am Pacific until January 27th 10pm Pacific. Ashes of Creation: Apocalypse is the battle royale standalone version of the sandbox MMORPG Ashes of Creation. To join, all you have to do is register here and download the latest patch.
WarpPortal has announced the removal of the development team assigned to Ragnarok Online 2, the 3D sequel of the popular classic MMORPG Ragnarok Online. There will not be any more new content added to the game. This includes the once promised Niffleheim region that never came. Staff has stated that the game will not receive further support and in-game events are expected to come to a halt.
So what will remain of Ragnarok Online 2? Well, WarpPortal will keep the last remaining server up and the Kafra shop will remain open. They will also still handle player reports via the ticket system to monitor and remove cheaters from the game.
Citadel Studios has announced the upcoming release schedule for the moddable sandbox MMORPG Legends of Aria. A small update focused on bug fixes and quality life changes will come today on January 17th, and a Dungeon expansion update will come on January 30th. Developer Barunson Entertainment has announced that after nearly seven years of development, their flagship MMORPG Astellia will finally make its way to the West with a game launch in the summer of 2019. Before its release, Barunson will hold several betas and allow fans to try the game in some conventions starting with the upcoming PAX South in San Antonio, Texas on January 18th.
