Phoenix Labs has announced that Dauntless, the multiplayer monster hunting game is leaving open beta and fully releasing on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The full launch will begin on May 21st, 2019. The PC version will be released exclusively on the Epic Games Store, so those who aren’t using Epic Games will need to move their accounts.
World of Warcraft Classic has finally been given a release date; August 26th for NA and August 27th for most other places. World of Warcraft Classic is a polished replica of World of Warcraft’s patch 1.12 version from 2006 before the launch of the game’s first expansion, The Burning Crusade. Eager players can begin claiming their character names on August 13th.
The Japanese anime MMORPG Caravan Stories is headed to the West on PlayStation 4 and will start off with open beta testing on July 16th. The game will also fully launch one week later on July 23rd. Traverse the fantasy world of Iyarr and challenge the great enemy known as Enigma. Choose to join one the five different races of Ork, Elf, Human, Gessy, and Dwarf.
A free trial version of Monster Hunter: World on PlayStation 4 is now available for a limited time! Until May 20th, PS4 players can hunt giant beasts with all players, not just trial version players. Of course, you will still need a PlayStation™Plus membership to play online.
Players can do all eight assignments and progress up to the completion of the “Flying Sparks: Tobi-Kadachi” (Hunter Rank 4 / 3★ ) assignment and use all of the 14 Hunter weapon types. Two locations are included in the Trial: the Ancient Forest and Wildspire Waste.
Albion Online‘s latest Midseason Patch (Oberon Patch 5) is live and it comes with three new regions for players to explore. Players now also have more flexibility with urgent access to territories since they can now remove their portal bindings (the lock to a city’s Outlands portal) every 30 days. The update also brings changes to Siege Camps, UI, an additional Marketplace Cluster to Caerleon, balance changes to combat, and more.
The EVE Online universe is getting a whole lot of new content soon when the game launches the ‘Invasion’ expansion on May 28th. Capsulers will be faced with a massive invasion as the Triglavian threat closes in.

Novaquark has released a new Developer’s Diary that explains the details on the barter system that will be added to the Scifi civilization-building MMO Dual Universe. The barter system will allow players to directly trade with one another. Like typical MMO trading, players will engage with one another in the game world and request to barter by clicking on the character they wish to barter with.

Pearl Abyss has announced that Xbox Game Pass users will be able to join in on the exploration of Black Desert’s Xbox version on May 9th. Game Pass members will be able to jump into the game and choose from 10 unique classes and explore the region of Valencia. They will also be able to purchase Black Desert with a 20% discount on all edition bundles of the game and get a 10% discount on all in-game consumables.
