World of Warcraft Classic is a polished replica of World of Warcraft’s patch 1.12 version from 2006 before the launch of the game’s first expansion, The Burning Crusade. Eager players can begin claiming their character names on August 13th.

The Classic version of World of Warcraft will run concurrently with the modern version. Those with World of Warcraft subscriptions will automatically have access to the Classic version on the day of the launch.
