Worlds Adrift Will Have Steam Early Access On May 17

Worlds Adrift, the open-world sandbox “Community-Crafted MMO” by Bossa Studios will be available on Steam on May 17, 2018. This will be an early access version and access to the game will cost $25. The game offers a world where players can explore and design their surroundings and scour through floating islands by building skyships and competing for resources.

Much has changed since the game underwent a closed beta back in May of last year. The development team has worked on lots of major features like new climbing move-sets that do not kill players which apparently took three to four months to complete. You can read all about what the developers’ plans for the game now, before it leaves early access and further down the line in Worlds Adrift’s roadmap.

Tree of Savior Shows Off Client Optimization Progress To Fix Lag & Frame Rate Issues

Perhaps the most criticized issue that can be found in Tree of Savior is the often times frustrating client optimization that causes drastic and dreadful lag issues and dropped frame rates. In the game’s latest Developer’s Blog, the staff presented the results of their Client Performance Optimization efforts so far.

They recorded densely populated maps in three different variations comparing before and after the Client Performance Optimization patch. The difference is almost night and day.

Closers KR Teases 4th Job, New Mystic Character & New Dungeon For 2018 Development Update

The Korean version of Closers has just revealed several exciting news coming to the game in the summer and beyond. Keep in mind that while En Masse’s English version is releasing characters at a good pace with Tina’s release only three days ago, the original Korean version is still more than half a dozen characters ahead with even more coming soon. This is very exciting news and gives Western players even more to look forward to.

Upcoming 14th Character

Closers (KR) as of now has 13 characters and Nexon has revealed that the 14th addition to the roster will be released in July! The class name will be Mystic, but a character name has not been revealed yet. Based on the silhouette below, it’s highly likely that the character is a girl. However I wouldn’t go as far as to say it’s certain since there are existing characters that would be very difficult to label with only a silhouette like Misteltein.

Oddly enough, a common question we’ve received is “why does the site not have any ads? How are you making any revenue?” Simply put, we don’t need them at the moment to keep everything running smoothly, so we don’t have them. I know how annoying ads can be, so MMOPulse will likely stay that way for a while unless our audience rate demands a better hosting service. I do hope that our site gains enough traction that we will eventually need ads to support costs of improving hosting plans, premium plugins and security. However, when we do bring ads to the site, they will always be minimal and never intrusive.

There have been concerns regarding little difference between MMO sections and MMORPG section. There will be clear differences when more games have been added.

The Best PvP MMORPG Of This Decade (2010 – 2019)

PvP (player versus player) has always been a highly criticized criteria when it comes to MMORPGs. Some desire harsh-punishing and ‘hardcore’ systems that let you take the loot of your fallen enemies, some desire optional or casual instanced-based arenas, while others would rather walk a different path altogether. Here is a list of MMORPGs from the current decade with impressive PvP.

We are listing these games based on release dates in descending order. This is an on-going list that will be updated every time a new impressive PvP centric MMORPG reveals itself.
