CCP Games, the Iceland-based game developer responsible for the popular sci-fi sandbox MMO EVE Online is attending this year’s G-Star Convention 2019. G-Star is an annual trade show showcasing dozens of video games and MMORPGs in Korea. EVE Online is set to launch in Korea when the convention begins on November 14th and will be presented there to support the release.
Pearl Abyss has announced that the Mystic class has come to the Xbox One version of the action MMORPG Black Desert. Similar to monk classes in other RPGs, the Mystic is a female close-range melee brawler class that makes use of powerful combat Gauntlets and Vambraces to perform a variety of skills:
Black Desert Mobile is finally making its way to the West. Developer and publisher Pearl Abyss has announced that the mobile iteration of the popular PC and console MMORPG Black Desert Online will be launching sometime in December of this year. The game is now available for pre-registration on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
Pearl Abyss has announce that the vast desert of Valencia will be added to the PlayStation 4 version of Black Desert on September 25th. The new area is located east of Media and is a massive continent!
The arid lands of Valencia will bring a host of new challenges, monsters, and stories. The great Valencia content will introduce the Bashim base, a large stretch of land that is home to the Bashim, a race of Demihumans with extremely hostile tendencies. The Ninja class has finally made his way to the Xbox version of Black Desert. Skilled in fast-paced combat, the Ninja uses quick aerial skills, teleportation, and dashes to quickly close the distance to enemies and hit them with precise deadly strikes. This class is armed with powerful stun and debuff techniques.
A new PvE group activity is on its way to Black Desert Online. On July 10th, Level 56+ players of the popular action MMORPG will be able to take part in ‘The Altar of Blood’. Three-man parties will fight to defend an altar from hordes of enemies that get stronger over the course of multiple rounds.
The small, but bold new Shai class is finally playable in Black Desert Online. Equipped with her giant boomerang, Shai supports her teammates in battle and fights from a distance. Shai is the 18th and first true support class to be added in the popular fantasy MMORPG.
Design as a support class, Shai wields a large boomerang that is almost as big as she is to swiftly attack enemies, support allies and evade. She has several unique skills at her disposal such as ‘Play Dead’ to fool enemies, ‘Get Well’ to heal allies, ‘Come Here and Hide!’ to shield her friends, and ‘Found You!’ to reveal hidden foes.
