Gameforge has announced that Stella Unibell, the guitar-wielding white-haired loli character in the anime MMORPG SoulWorker has received her job advancement. Players of the character can obtain new skills once they reach level 57. The character received a fresh new look and a flashier demon-wolf warrior companion.
“Hate and fear crackled over Stella as she decided to enter the Void and become a SoulWorker. Available from level 57, the new skills in her class expansion mean that nobody will dare harm a hair on this girl’s head – and if they do, they face the wrath of a most deadly warrior.”
Gameforge has announced the latest character to join the SoulWorker gang and her name is Chii Aruel. The pink-haired girl character will be the seventh to be released. No information has been revealed about her abilities or release date yet.
Hopefully Gameforge will release a gameplay video soon so we can see how the epic left-hand sword and oddly shaped right-hand weapon function in combat. Chii Aruel will most likely release in Korea first and make her way to Gameforge’s NA/EU servers sometime after, so we’ll have to keep a close eye on the Korean version for her arrival.
Anime MMOs offer anime-inspired characters, world, graphics, themes, and/or features. In some cases like Sword Art Online: Memory Defrag, the MMO is based entirely on a specific anime and shares the same world. Here is a list of the top anime MMOs of all time.
We are listing these games based on their titles. This list is on-going and will be updated when new anime MMOs arise. Please let us know of any MMOs you feel deserve to be on this list!
During Gamescom 2018, MMO publisher Gameforge has announced that SoulWorker will receive a large content update on September 6th. Players can expect new dungeons, a new zone, a class advancement, increased level cap and more.
Haru Estia will be the first to receive a class advancement in the Western version. This will allow her to gain new abilities and a secondary sword.
The mobile version of the anime-styled hack’n’slash brawler SoulWorker has finally launched in China where it is called Soul Keeper: Awakening (異次元行者:覺醒). Soul Keeper brings the same action-packed gameplay on mobile devices as its PC counterpart.
Soul Keeper: Awakening can be downloaded from the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. Keep in mind that everything in the game is in Chinese. The voice acting is in Japanese. Watch the trailer below to see the different classes in combat.
Gameforge has announced that the Western version of SoulWorker has received the housing update and a new Sprint Event. Starting at level 8, players can take a break from their ruthless monster-hunting and “chill out in their rooms.”
To access the housing system, players can press H to open up the accommodation menu. In the top-right, there is a button used to go inside of their apartments. There are also Home Manager devices in every town that can be used to access the instanced player housing.
Jin Seipatsu, the lightning fist brawler character of SoulWorker has received a new class upgrade in the Korean version of the game. Now powered by two mechanical wings, Jin’s hand-to-hand action combat is greatly diversified with a set of new explosive close and long range skills. Long range energy blasts lets Jin gather and blow enemies from afar.
With Jin Seipatsu’s latest update, the Korean version of SoulWorker has now updated all but one character in the roster. The English version has yet to receive any of the character upgrades and is still on their way to release the sixth SoulWorker member, Iris Yuma. Jin Seipatsu was released not long ago as a playable character in Gameforge’s English version. You can play as the explosive and tanky character now, but don’t expect to receive a pair of mech wings anytime soon. If Gameforge plans to follow the same order as the Korean version, there are four characters that will receive their character upgrades ahead of Jin.
SoulWorker, the newly released anime brawler MMORPG has just received its first and latest character addition and a major content update. As was teased before, Jin Seipatsu joins the SoulWorker roster as the “Spirit Arms” playable character. He is a martial arts specialist who uses his superhuman powers to play as both tank and DPS roles with skills that can attract enemies to him while giving them invulnerabilities and a wide array of AoE attacks. He also has the highest base HP out of all of the SoulWorker characters.
A new instanced raid called The Golden Citadel has been released as well, which can be accessed once you’ve completed all of SoulWorker’s casual raid quests. This raid comes with five spaces, each of which also comes with its own themed boss.
The Germany-based publisher, Gameforge has just posted a 3 second teaser GIF on SoulWorker‘s Facebook page captioned with “Very Soon” and accompanied with the comment of “Jin?”. We can only assume that this means Jin Seipatsu, the lightning fist character will be added to SoulWorker’s roster as a new playable character soon. Gameforge’s SoulWorker currently has four playable characters and we know that Jin Seipatsu was added as the fifth character for the Korean and Japanese versions of the game.
SoulWorker fully launched just at the start of April which will make Jin the first character expansion for the English version. It is good to see that Gameforge seems to have chosen not to take their time with character releases.
