In the past decade, many MMO developers have jumped on the bandwagon of tapping into the rapidly growing mobile market by creating mobile spin-offs of their PC games. MMOs are meant to be played with others, so it makes a lot of sense to bring these awesome titles to mobile phones – a device that billions of people now have in the palm of their hands. Here is a list of the mobile MMO spin-offs that have already, will, or are expected to release in 2019!
Published by Nexon, the mobile MMORPG ‘Spiritwish‘ has entered closed beta testing in South Korea. The isometric mobile RPG shares a lot of gameplay and graphical aspects with Tree of Savior. If you are a fan of ToS or Ragnarok Online, this game is one to keep an eye out for. Dungeon bosses, quests, cut-scenes, NPCs and world-design act and look almost identical to Tree of Savior. There is also an auto-combat mode.
One main difference is that players create their own team of up to 3 controllable characters. There is no official word on whether an English version is planned for Spiritwish yet. Watch the official teaser below to see the gameplay. Beta testing will begin in Korea later in 2018.
