Korean MMORPG Astellia is set to launch on the Steam platform on January 30th. The buy-to-play game is already downloadable and playable from the web-based service. Players form both the web-based service and Steam platform will be on the same regional servers.
Unreal Engine 3 MMORPG Astellia, previously known as Astellia Online will launch its second closed beta test for the North American release on July 30th, 12:00 am PDT. The test will run for one week in total, ending on August 6th, 8:00 am PDT.
CBT2 will allow players to partake in the large scale PvP battleground called Avalon, see the in-game cash shop and loyalty ship, and check out the updated Mana and progressions systems.
Korean developers Barunson and Studio 8 have sent word that the first closed beta test of the fantasy MMORPG Astellia will begin on June 25th and end July 1st. Pre-download of the CBT-1 Client is already available for those who have been invited to participate.
For the first 5 days of CBT-1, players will experience the game in its “default state” so the developers can get data on character and gear progression. After, a Special NPC will appear that will level up characters to Lv. 50.

Astellia Online is an upcoming MMORPG or ‘massively multiplayer online role-playing game’ with a monster card system in which players collect and combine cards to call forth powerful companions into battle. The companions are critical parts gameplay as they determine the style of a player’s combat through the varying buffs, debuffs and abilities that each one can provide like crowd control, tanking, heals and more.
