In celebration of the release of a new unique raid called The Tome of the White Crow and the new gear accompanying it, players of the isometric MMORPG Tree of Savior are now able to freely try out a variety of class combinations.
Published by Nexon, the mobile MMORPG ‘Spiritwish‘ has entered closed beta testing in South Korea. The isometric mobile RPG shares a lot of gameplay and graphical aspects with Tree of Savior. If you are a fan of ToS or Ragnarok Online, this game is one to keep an eye out for. Dungeon bosses, quests, cut-scenes, NPCs and world-design act and look almost identical to Tree of Savior. There is also an auto-combat mode.
One main difference is that players create their own team of up to 3 controllable characters. There is no official word on whether an English version is planned for Spiritwish yet. Watch the official teaser below to see the gameplay. Beta testing will begin in Korea later in 2018.
Two new classes are coming to Tree of Savior! IMC Games has released the class previews and vocal BGM by SFA for both of them. The first class is the Pied Piper which is a class that utilizes music to control and fight enemies. The second class is the Exorcist which uses spiritual powers to weaken and banish enemies. The Pied Piper is part of the Archer tree while the Exorcist is part of the Cleric tree. Watch the previews of their combat, lore and stories below.
Isometric MMOs refer to massively multiplayer online games that make use of a form of dimetric projection where the angle that is viewable by the player shows facets that are visible only from a top-down perspective or side-view.

IMC Games shows off the latest feature in development for their isometric MMORPG, Tree of Savior called Beauty Shop. Beauty Shop is a new instanced salon area that will allow players to further customize their characters with dyes for changing hair color, more hair styles and new costumes.
The feature introduces the options for characters to have various choices of dual color hair. Many of the options require spending TP Tokens (Cash Shop currency). It’s certainly much simpler than changing one’s hairstyle in Tree of Savior’s spiritual predecessor Ragnarok Online which requires completing quests.
At first glance at the feedback given by Tree of Savior forum members, it seems that many players find the look of the new hair options to be unfit with the game’s aesthetics. Have a look at what’s coming when Tree of Savior’s Beauty Shop opens for business and let us know what you think of it.
We’ve combed through all of the MMORPGs that has shown up in the past two decades and chosen the most eye-pleasing games with the best graphics and beautifully rendered assets to offer.
We have and will only add MMORPGs that are already or nearly playable in the West to this list. However, keep in mind that this is an on-going list, so upcoming MMOs that would otherwise be on this list like Ashes of Creation, Peria Chronicles, Moonlight Blade or any other games that deserve to be listed will be added when they are fully released in English.
We are listing these games based on release dates in descending order.
Perhaps the most criticized issue that can be found in Tree of Savior is the often times frustrating client optimization that causes drastic and dreadful lag issues and dropped frame rates. In the game’s latest Developer’s Blog, the staff presented the results of their Client Performance Optimization efforts so far.
They recorded densely populated maps in three different variations comparing before and after the Client Performance Optimization patch. The difference is almost night and day.
